Buffalo Chicken & Cream Cheese Wontons

Ingredients:

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1/2 pkg. wonton round wraps
8 oz. whipped cream cheese
1/4 (up to 1/3 c.) Saucy Mama Hot Wing Sauce

Directions:

Add two chicken breasts to a sauté pan with a couple tablespoons of water and cover. Cook on medium-low heat until cooked through, approximately 18-20 minutes. It’s not going to brown, which is exactly what you want for this particular dish.

Using two forks, shred the chicken breast into small pieces. Add 1/4 to 1/3 c. Saucy Mama Hot Wing Sauce to the shredded chicken.

Place one teaspoon of cream cheese into the center of a wonton wrapper. Add a teaspoon of shredded chicken on top of the cream cheese. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water and fold in half. Crimp the open edge with your fingers to seal.

Add a quart of vegetable oil to a large pan. Heat oil on med-med high heat.

Add 4-5 wontons to a pan of hot oil and cook until golden brown in color. Drain on a paper towel. Serve while hot.

Makes approx. 30 wontons
